Born: 1969
Height: 5’ 6”
Weight: I’d rather not say.
Likes: Students that train regularly, seeing a student progress, hard
warm ups.
Dislikes: Lazy students, Students who turn up when they can be bothered.
Favourite Food: Indian.
Favourite movie: Jason Bourne trilogy.
Current Rank: 1st Degree Black Belt.
Favourite Technique: The more simple ones such as an elbow or knee
strike but I am happy to go to the ground.
Hobbies: Tae Kwon Do, 5 aside football, walking my dogs, camping and
hill walking. I have been doing Tae Kwon Do since 1997. I have
also done Kappap Jujitsu and ground work.
I have been at Scotthall since 97 but I have
trained at other clubs around the Leeds and Bradford area and I have
trained with Master Liversidge along with many other instructors. An
injury kept me away from TKD for approximately 2 years and when I
returned I took an open grading which saw me go from a blue belt to a
green belt. Along with many other things I promised myself I would do in
life getting a black belt was one of the longest things I have trained
for. Martial arts are for everyone so it doesn’t matter how old or unfit
you are it’s never too late to start, even if TKD isn’t for you there
are plenty of other martial arts to choose from. You never know you
might just enjoy it and meet some new friends.
